A new Emerson College poll puts President Donald Trump’s New Jersey favorables at an upside-down 36%-57%, a number that many Democrats, from U.S. Senator Bob Menendez down to candidates for municipal office view as critical to winning on November 6.
Among independents, Trump is upside-down at 35%-57%. He is at 85%-10% with Republicans and 10%-85% among Democrats.
Trump is also upside-down among women (33%-58%) and with non-white voters (31%-65%).
