Jersey City school board candidates win endorsements

Three top Jersey City elected officials have endorsed Vidya Gangadin, Neil Abadie, and Dominique Smith for the Jersey City Board of Education.

City Councilwoman Joyce Watterman, Hudson County Freeholder Jerry Walker, and Assemblywoman Angela McKnight (D-Jersey City) said they would back the slate of candidates.

Gangadin, Abadie and Smith have already been endorsed by City Council President Rolando Lavarro, Councilwoman Mira Prinz-Arey and Councilman James Solomon.
