Zwigard picks up more than 50 new endorsements

Adds Shaw, Krickus to supporters for Morris GOP chairman

Rob Zwigard announced more endorsements of his bid for Morris County Republican Chairman, including two winners in last week’s GOP freeholder primary.

Former Mountain Lakes Mayor Stephen Shaw and ex-Freeholder John Krickus join five incumbent freeholders in supporting Zwigard, who faces Morris GOP finance chairman Ronald DeFilippis in tomorrow night’s election.

Zwigard also picked up endorsements from Republican State Committeewoman Christina Ramirez and former Morris County GOP chair Marilyn Cioffi.  He added new endorsements from 44 local elected officials and a slew of former officeholders.

Sheriff James Gannon, State Sen. Anthony Bucco, Assemblywoman Betty Lou DeCroce, and Assemblymen Michael Patrick Carroll and Anthony M. Bucco had previously announced their support of Zwigard, along with nineteen Republican mayors.
