Former Celgene CEO Bob Hugin won the Hunterdon County Republican convention tonight and will run in the GOP U.S. Senate primary on the organization line.
Hugin received 68 votes, with 16 for Dana Wefer and and 13 for Brian Goldberg. This was Wefer’s first convention.
“As a former Marine, job creator, and philanthropist, Bob Hugin has committed his life to service, and will represent us with honor and integrity in Washington,” said Hunterdon County Republican Chairman Patrick Torpey. “The Hunterdon GOP is excited to support and work for Bob Hugin for U.S. Senate and all of our endorsed candidates on the ballot.”
