Clean Sweep for Hugin

Senate candidate goes 21-0 in county GOP endorsement competition

By David Wildstein, March 29 2018 5:05 pm

U.S. Senate candidate Bob Hugin has received the endorsement of the Bergen County Republican Organization, which means he has now received the backing of all 21 of New Jersey’s county Republican organizations — a strong showing for a first-time candidate who is trying to move from private sector CEO to the United States Senate.

“Bob Hugin understands the issues that are important to all New Jerseyans and I’m proud to support him,” said Bergen County GOP Chairman Paul DiGaetano. “He will be a strong advocate for the people of the Garden State in the U.S. Senate.”

Hugin, the former Celgene CEO, is the overwhelming front-runner to win the Republican primary against Brian Goldberg, Dana Wefer and Antonio Sabas.
