Hugin wins Middlesex

First-time candidate is 19-0

Businessman Bob Hugin won the organization line for U.S. Senate in Middlesex County, defeating Brian Goldberg with 93% of the vote.   This is the 19th consecutive win for Hugin in bis bid to take on Sen. Bob Menendez.

Hugin won 151-12 at the Middlesex GOP convention in Sayreville.  He also won conventions in Atlantic this morning, and in Somerset and Mercer last night. 

“Together we’ll work to elect candidates from the top of the ticket to the bottom who will serve our state with honor and integrity,” Hugin said in a statement last night.

  1. I think if there was a candidate opposing Hugin who didnt take the party for a ride and do nothing in 2014 maybe these would be competitive. But with what we got keep piling on the Saddam Hussein-size wins for Hugin!
