Howell Republicans keep two Council seats, lose one

Howell Republicans successfully defended two of the three Council seats up for election in Monmouth County Republican Chairman Shaun Golden’s home town.

Republican Councilman Robery Walsh lost his seat to Democratic challenger John Bonevich, 9,604 votes to 9,513.

Walsh’s running mates won their races, with Thomas Russo grabbing 10,157 votes and Pameli Richmond taking 9,857.

Demcorats Kristal Dias and Paul Dorato  won 9,455 and 9,415 votes, respectively.
