Assemblyman Joe Howarth (R-Evesham), facing an increasingly difficult re-election campaign in the 8th district, has just $15,810 in his campaign warchest at the end of 2018.
Howarth raised $52,810 in total this cycle and spent $37,000, according to reports filed with the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission. The numbers do not include revenues from a fundraiser he held this morning in Trenton.
A joint account with Assemblyman Ryan Peters (R-Lumberton) shows an additional $18,200 in the bank. That account reported receipts of $23,200 and expenditures of $5,000.
Peters, a freshman legislator, raised $56,622 so far this cycle and has $16,325 cash-on-hand.
