Rep. Chris Smith (R-Hamilton) raised $100,570 during the first seventeen days of October and has $448,407 cash-on-hand in his bid for a 20th term in Congress from New Jersey’s 4th district.
Smith has raised a total of $1,182,595 for his re-election bid. He spent a total of $296,828 between October 1-18, according to reports he filed with the Federal Election Commission.
Smith faces an aggressive challenge from Democrat Josh Welle, who has raised nearly $1.5 million in the most expensive 4th district race of Smith’s political career.
