Rep. Tom MacArthur on Sunday attacked challenger Andy Kim for fundraising with U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren.
“Andy Kim’s decision to lock arms with one of the most extreme politicians in the nation, who has repeatedly voted against the tankers that saved Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, shows where his interests lie. I have worked with Democrats and Republicans to help secure the Joint Base, while radicals like Elizabeth Warren have put its future at risk,” MacArthur said in a statement. “This is yet another example of Andy, who is a radical resistance figure, trying to have it both ways. He can’t stand with Elizabeth Warren and stand for the Joint Base, when she repeatedly voted to block the very mission that secured its future.”
Warren has voted against bills that would prevent the retirement of tankers and aircraft used at the Air Force base in Burlington County.
