Democrat Andy Kim has raised $3,314,060 in his bid to unseat two-term Rep. Tom MacArthur in New Jersey’s 3rd district and has $1,083,161 cash-on-hand as of September 30, according to reports he filed with the Federal Election Commission.

MacArthur has $918,162 cash-on-hand.  He raised $1,383,032 in the third quarter and $2,687,921 for the cycle.   MacArthur loaned himself $800,000 during this quarter.

MacArthur is carrying a campaign debt of $1,635,489, based on the self-funding of his previous races.

Kim, a former Obama White House staffer, raised $1,911,019 in the third quarter.  He is carrying no debt.

Polls have shown the race to be within the margin of error.
