Hugin has spent $24 million of his own money so far

Republican U.S. Senate candidate Bob Hugin has put $24 million into his bid to unseat Democrat Bob Menendez so far, according to reports filed with the Federal Election Commission.

Hugin loaned his campaign an addition $8.5 million in the third quarter and had $3,520,675 cash-on-hand as of September 30.

The retired pharmaceutical company CEO raised an additional $10,077,779 during Q3, bringing his fundraising haul up to $2,236,652 as of the end of September.
