Republican congressional candidate Seth Grossman says he raised $12,000 yesterday online in his bid to put his TV ads on Philadelphia network TV during the final two weeks of the campaign.
Grossman said recent contributions allowed him to “finally play big League ball. ”
“You got me on Fox News with a series of hard-hitting, thirty second commercials,” Van Drew said. “We’re now running radio ads on major stations, as well as our favorite local ones.”
Grossman has achieved national attention for comments and Internet posts that some view as racist. It caused him to lose the support of the National Republican Congressional Committee in his race against Democratic State Sen. Jeff Van Drew in New Jersey’s 2nd district.
“Van Drew still has buckets of money,” Grossman said. “Much of it from deep-pocket, radical, out-of-state Democrats.”
