Republican congressional candidate Hirsh Singh has picked up the endorsements of two Republican legislators from the Ocean County portion of New Jersey’s 2nd district.
Assemblyman Brian Rumpf (R-Little Egg Harbor) and Assemblywoman DiAnne Gove (R-Long Beach) join the Ocean County Republican organization in supporting Singh for the open House seat of retiring Rep. Frank LoBiondo (R-Ventnor).
“Hirsh Singh is the candidate we need for Congress in South Jersey,” Rumpf said. “He is a rising star in our Party with a bold vision for our region and a passion to fight for it. Hirsh is our best candidate for holding onto the Second District seat and helping retain control of Congress to advance a conservative agenda in Washington.”
Gove says that Singh’s 2017 campaign for governor showed that he can “energize young people and constituencies that don’t consistently vote Republican.”
“I know he’ll fight for our regional economy, for jobs, and — most importantly — for our people,” Singh said.
