Democratic congressional candidate Mike Sherrill raised $1,116,608 in the first quarter of 2018, had $1,663,180 cash on hand, and has raised $2,356,778 since become a congressional candidate last May.
A former navy helicopter pilot and federal prosecutor, Sherrill is seeking to flip New Jersey’s 11th district, where Republican Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen is retiring. The GOP has held this seat for 34 years.
“The momentum around our campaign continues to grow. All winter, I’ve heard from new voices in our community that they are ready for new leadership in Congress focused on the needs of New Jersey,” Sherrill said. I am incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support for our race, and look forward to working hard to earn your vote.
Sherrill faces Tamara Harris, Allison Heslin, Mark Washburne and Mitchell Colbert in the Democratic primary.
