Rep. Albio Sires (D-West New York) raised $22,575 in the 3rd quarter of the year and now has $145,836 cash-on-hand for his 2020 re-election bid in New Jersey’s 8th district.
Sires, the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Western Hemisphere Subcommittee, reported raising $146,593 so far this cycle.
Hector Omar Oseguera has filed to challenge Sires in the Democratic primary, but has not reported any fundraising.
A former Assembly Speaker and West New York Mayor, Sires was re-elected to a 8th term last year, defeating Republican John R. Muniz by a 78%-19% margin.
