Booker headed to California, then Iowa

Candidate going to Golden State this weekend, Hawkeye State next weekend

U.S. Sen. Cory Booker has some busy weekends lined up.

On Saturday, the presidential candidate will head to California will address the state’s Democratic convention. Later that day, he’ll give a speech at the MoveOn Big Ideas Forum.

The following Weekend, Booker will return to Iowa, attending seven public events over a two-day span.

That Saturday, he’ll walk in the Capital City Pride Festival in Polk County, attend the Big Tent on the Prairie Fundraiser hosted by Story County Democrats and then appear on a live recording of the Political Party Live podcast.

The next day, he’ll attend a service at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Cedar Rapids and headline the Iowa Democratic Party’s Hall of Fame induction.

Booker will be joined by presidential candidates Pete Buttigieg, John Delaney, Kirsten Gillibrand, Kamala Harris, John Hickenlooper, Amy Klobuchar, Elizabeth Warren and Andrew Yang at the latter event.
