Cory Booker will stump for votes in Iowa during a four-day campaign swing next week – his 11th visit to the site of the first caucus of the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination process.
Booker will address child poverty during his 8-stop swing visit to Winneshiek, Mitchell, Floyd, Linn, Johnson, Boone, Dallas, and Dickinson counties.
A Des Moines Register/CNN/Mediacom Iowa Poll two weeks ago had Elizabeth Warren two points ahead of Joe Biden, 22%-20%, with Bernie Sanders in third place with 11% in their bids for the Democratic presidential nomination.
Cory Booker and Amy Klobuchar are tied for sixth place with 3% each, trailing Pete Buttigieg (9%) and Kamala Harris (6%). Four other candidates are at 2%: Tulsi Gabbard, Beto O’Rourke, Tom Steyer and Andrew Yang.
