Booker headed to Iowa for 7th time Friday

U.S. Sen. Cory Booker on Friday will make his seventh trip to Iowa since announcing his presidential candidacy in February.

Booker will start the day with a town-hall style event in Council Bluffs, then he’ll hold a meet and greet in Greenfield.

After that, Booker will head to Des Moines to attend the New Leaders Council Millennials Forum and, later, the AFSCME Council 61 Convention.

Currently, Real Clear Politics’ Iowa polling average puts Booker’s support in the state at 2%. His polling average nationally is 1.8%.
