Cory Booker is headed to Nevada this week for the sixth time in search of votes in advance of the February 22 Democratic presidential caucuses.
Booker will speak at the Nevada State AFL-CIO convention on Wednesday.
Assemblyman Alex Assefa (D-Las Vegas), an Ethiopian refugee who won a seat in the Nevada Legislature in 2018, will host a Conversation with Cory event on Tuesday evening.
Assefa has not yet endorsed a candidate for the 2020 Democratic nomination.
On Wednesday morning, Booker will attend a Hispanics in Politics breakfast.
The AFL-CIO event is closed to the press and Booker’s speech will not be livestreamed.
The Nevada Caucuses will follow Iowa on February 3 and New Hampshire on February 11, and comes one week before the South Carolina Democratic presidential primary.
