The Boston Globe is reporting that U.S. Senator Cory Booker, who is mulling a bid for the Democratic presidential nomination, will be in New Hampshire on Saturday for a “post-election victory celebration” with the New Hampshire Democratic Party.
New Hampshire holds the first-in-the-nation presidential primary, a tradition that will likely continue following Secretary of State Bill Gardner’s narrow victory on Wednesday. By a vote of 209-205, Gardner will keep the post he’s held since 1976. Gardner is a passionate defender of New Hampshire’s role in the presidential nomination process.
