Two Union presidents endorsed incumbent township committee candidates in Union Township Friday.

Union Township Superior Officers Association local 69A President Christopher Donnelly and Policemen’s Benevolent Association Local 69 President Joseph Sauer backed Committeeman Clifton People and Committeewoman Suzette Cavadas for another term.

“After careful consideration of both slates on the ballot in June’s Democratic Primary we are proud to endorse Clifton People, Jr. and Suzette Cavadas for Township Committee,” said Donnelly and Sauer.  “Our decision was an easy one based on the support they have continuously provided for our members in our mission to keep Union Township neighborhoods safe.  As members of the Township Committee, People, Jr. and Cavadas have always placed a high priority on the safety and security of Township families and they will have our full support in the coming weeks.”
