Ridgefield Mayor Anthony R. Suarez announced last night that he will seek re-election to a fifth term,
Suarez will run on a ticket with incumbent councilmen Hugo Jimenez and James Kontolios.
Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-Paterson) joined the mayor at his announcement.
Suarez says he has stabilized property taxes and improved the quality of life for local residents during his sixteen years as mayor.
“Over the past several years Ridgefield has been ranked as one of the best places to live in NJ, one of the best towns for seniors in NJ, one of the safest communities in the USA, and one of the best places to raise a family in NJ,” a statement issued by the Suarez campaign said.
