Report: Impreveduto won’t seek re-election

Monmouth freeholder wants to spend more time with family

Monmouth County Freeholder Patrick Impreveduto will not seek re-election to a second term next year, MMM has reported.

Impreveduto, 66,  told MMM that he was stepping down to spend more time with this family.

A former teacher and principal, Impreveduto served on the Holmdel Board of Education for six years and ten years as a township committeeman and mayor before winning a freeholder seat in 2017.

“It’s time to slow down and smell the roses.  I am very grateful to all the people who have voted for me over the years, in Holmdel and throughout the County,” Impreveduto told MMM.  “It’s time for me to make room for the next generation of leaders.”
