Ocean County Dems level new accusations against Price

Ocean County Democrats are leveling new accusations against their own freeholder candidate Teddy Price, who the county organization now claims “illegally dissolved” the Tom’s River Democratic Club and took its money with him.

The county organization, which turned on price after he endorsed Republican Bob Hugin, also accused price of engaging in conspiracy theories and encouraged Democrats in the county to reach out to price directly via phone and email to request that he drop out of the race, which Price has said he has no intention of doing.

The county organization offers little to support most of its accusations against price, and its main issue appears to still be price’s endorsement of the Republican U.S. Senate candidate.

Price said he endorsed Hugin because he had issues supporting Sen. Bob Menendez stemming from the latter’s ethics problems.
