Morris freeholders tout record

Morris County’s GOP freeholders touted their record of working to preserve open spaces and farmland in the county.

“The Smith, Krickus, Shaw team stepped up when vulnerable open space and farmland was at risk. Morris County resident’s value green spaces and their contribution to our quality of life,” said Freeholder Deborah Smith.

Smith, along with Freeholders John Krickus and Stephen Shaw, is running in a race that risks being heavily influenced by the year’s midterm elections, which many view as a referendum on President Donald Trump.

While Democrats last held a Morris freeholder seat in 1978, the incumbents would be well served with a degree of caution.
