West Milford Councilmembers Lou Signorino and Pete McGuinness announced local businessman Steve Castronova would join their ticket as a candidate for township council Wednesday.
“Steve Castronova is a dedicated public servant in West Milford and has been for quite some time,” McGuinness, the town’s council president, said. “Steve serves on both the Planning and Zoning Boards and Insurance Advisory Committee. He formerly served on the board of the local Municipal Utilities Authority and Economic Development Committee. Steve is a civic minded, community first type of person who shares my pride in West Milford.”
Signorino is challenging West Milford Mayor Michelle Dale, a fellow Republican who won the remainder of former Mayor Bettina Bieri’s term last year.
The three candidates will officially launch their campaign at the Lake Bird Lodge on March 30.
