The International Union of Operating Engineers Local 825 has endorsed Assemblyman Joe Lagana (D-Paramus) to replace Bob Gordon in the 38th district State Senate seat.
“Assemblyman Lagana has been a trusted and steadfast supporter of the issues most important to the men and women of the Operating Engineers Local 825,” said Greg Lalevee, Business Manager of IUOE 825. “Joe was there for our folks when it counted the most and we are proud to support him for the Senate now.”
This is Lagana’s second union endorsement since published reports confirmed that State Sen. Bob Gordon (D-Fair Lawn) will leave the State Senate to become a Commissioner of the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities.
