Paterson mayoral candidate Andre Sayegh has won the endorsement of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 68 (I.U.O.E).

“Paterson has incredible potential on many different fronts, but it needs strong and dedicated leadership,” said Assemblyman Tom Giblin (D-Montclair), the Business Manager for Local 68. “Andre’s hard work and devotion to Paterson is evident in the positive changes he has brought to the sixth ward. He has proven he is the leader Paterson needs to achieve that same progress in every ward of the city. Andre is the mayor Paterson needs to move forward. He will give all the people of Paterson the responsible leadership and government they deserve.”

Sayegh, a sixth ward councilman since 2008 and a former school board member, is the front runner in the May 8 mayoral election.
