32BJ backs Sayegh in Paterson

The latest union to endorse Andre Sayegh for mayor of Paterson: 32BJ SEIU.

“Andre Sayegh is a tireless advocate for the City of Paterson and all its working men, women and families.  This election for mayor is coming at an important time, a time when we need honest and enthusiastic leadership to move Paterson forward,” said Kevin Brown, Vice President and New Jersey State Director of 32BJ SEIU. “We endorse Andre Sayegh because he has a plan to extend his successful work in the sixth ward to the entire city of hard working Patersonians.

In a press release, Brown said that members of his union interviewed Sayegh this week.

“We were impressed with his commitment to diversity and his background as both councilman and as a past member of Paterson’s Board of Education,” Brown said.
