The New Jersey Building and Construction Trades Council endorsed Assemblyman Anthony Verrelli Monday.

“Our middle class is the foundation of New Jersey’s economic success,” Verrelli said. “When we invest in our workers by advancing a labor-friendly agenda, the results are clear: Hard-working New Jerseyans have more money to invest in the economy and ultimately live happier, fulfilling lives. I am proud to stand by my brothers and sisters in organized labor, and I will continue to fight for them.”

The building trades union is one of the largest and most influential in the state.

Verrelli serves as President of Carpenters Local Union 254.

“The New Jersey Building & Construction Trades Council enhances New Jersey residents’ quality of life by creating good, well-paying jobs,” Verrelli said. “It is an honor to receive the Council’s endorsement, and I am thankful for their support of my candidacy.”
