Scharfenberger backs Ciattarelli

Assemblyman Gerald Scharfenberger (R-Middletown) today announced his support of Jack Ciattarelli for the Republican nomination for governor.

“It is a great honor to endorse my friend Jack Ciattarelli to be the next governor of New Jersey. Jack has the experience, energy, and statewide recognition best suited to challenge Governor Murphy in November,” Scharfenberger said.  “I am looking forward to running with him on the ticket in November.”

Monmouth County GOP Chairman Shaun Golden endorsed Ciattarelli on Friday, along with County Commissioner Tom Arnone and County Clerk Christine Hanlon.

Ciattarelli is cleaning up on Republican endorsements following the withdrawal of former GOP State Chairman Doug Steinhardt one week ago.
