SIres calls Hugin ‘shameful’

Says GOP Senate candidate ‘can’t run away from his past’

BAYONNE – Rep. Albio Sires (D-West New York) bashed Republican U.S. Senate candidate Bob Hugin for his efforts to deny women a place in the Princeton University eating cub he ran.

“It’s shameful what this guy did,” Sires said.  It’s just absurd.  At the age of 30, that’s not New Jersey.  That’s not inclusive.”

Sires said that he believes Hugin’s record will hurt him in his campaign to unseat incumbent Democrat Bob Menendez.

“He can do all the commercials he wants, but he can’t run away from his past,” Sires told the New Jersey Globe.

The six-term congressman was with Menendez in Bayonne this morning to announce a $1 million federal maritime grant.

  1. LOL, these democrats have NO SHAME! Nice try by Series, however, the corrupt Menendeez cannot run away for HIS past and his present! Series needs to read what Menendez’s fellow Senate members had to say about Menendez’s ethic problems. It wasn’t pretty!
