Democratic congressional candidate Tom Malinowski will hold a town hall meeting in Basking Ridge tomorrow with his former boss, John Kerry.

Malinowski served as Assistant U.S. Secretary of State when Kerry ran the State Department under President Barack Obama.

As the Democratic candidate for president in 2004, Kerry carried New Jersey by 241,427 votes, 53%-46%, against incumbent George W. Bush.

In an interview with POLITICO yesterday, Kerry refused to rule out a challenge to President Donald Trump in 2020.

The event will be held at 4:30 on Friday in the Performing Arts Center at Ridge High School.

Malinowski is challenging Leonard Lance, a five-term Republican congressman, in New Jersey’s 7th district.
