Republican U.S. Senate candidate wouldn’t commit to backing Assemblywoman Holly Schepisi (R-River Vale) for Governor in 2021, but he wouldn’t rule it out either.

“Holly is a great force.  She’s part of today, part of tomorrow,” Hugin said.  “She does a great job.”

Last May, Assemblywoman Bob Auth (R-Old Tappan) floated Schepisi’s name as a potential gubernatorial candidate, saying he would support her or Assembly Minority Leader Jon Bramnick.

Schepisi, who joined Hugin on the campaign trail today during his appearance at the Rutherford Street Fair, declined to comment on her statewide aspirations.
