Democrats increase their registration edge by 9,000

New Jersey now has 930,542 more Democrats than Republicans

New Jersey’s Democratic voter registration edge expanded by 9,011 in October, according to final voter registration numbers released today by the New Jersey Secretary of State.

New Jersey now has 930,542 more Democrats than Republicans, up from 921,531 last month.

The total number of registered voters in New Jersey is now 5,935,574, an increase of 53,351 new voters added in October before the deadline to register for the November 6 general election.

In October, New Jersey added 14,437 new Democrats, and 5,426 new Republicans.
