Democratic congressional candidate Josh Welle is staying out of the fight between the Ocean County Democratic Party and their candidate for freeholder, Teddy Price.
Price endorsed Republican Bob Hugin for U.S. Senate, causing Wyatt Earp, the Democratic County Chairman, to call on Price to drop out of the freeholder race. Price refused.
Asked if he agreed with Earp that Price should withdraw from the race – and if he supports Price for freeholder – Welle punted.
“I don’t have an opinion on Mr. Price,” Welle told the New Jersey Globe.
