Mayor backs Welle for Congress

By David Wildstein, February 26 2018 9:45 am

Ocean Township Mayor Christopher Siciliano has endorsed Josh Welle for the Democratic nomination for Congress in New Jersey’s 4th district.

“Josh Welle brings an understanding and view of the challenges our communities and residents face that’s been missing from Washington,” Siciliano said. “While I’m trying to keep taxes stable and bring new economic development to our town, I need a partner in Washington who understands those challenges.”

Siciliano says Welle was the candidate who will help bring jobs to central New Jersey.

Welle is one of three Democrats vying for the chance to unseat Republican Rep. Chris Smith, a nineteen-term incumbent.
