Mikie Sherrill’s got a lot of money in the bank.
The former Navy pilot pulled in a little less than $1.9 million between the start of April and the end of July, bringing her total raised for the campaign cycle to more than $4.2 million.
“The priorities of our campaign continue to resonate in this community,” Sherrill said in a statement. “Tax relief, quality and affordable healthcare, and growing New Jersey’s economy are top concerns for the people of New Jersey. I am incredibly honored to have the support of so many Americans who are ready for new leadership in Congress that puts people first.”
Much as she did in the primary, Sherrill banked the bulk of her considerable war chest as she moved through the second quarter. She spent $293,830.50 between May 17 and June 30, slightly less than the $340,742 she reported spending in her pre-primary filing, which covered the first half of the second quarter.
Sherrill began July with just over $2.9 million.
