Rep. Donald Payne, Jr. (D-Newark) has raised $431,320 in his bid for re-election to a fifth term in the U.S. House of Representatives, according to Federal Election Committee reports filed by his campaign committee.
Payne, a former Essex County Freeholder and Newark City Councilman, won a special election in 2012 to fill the 10th district seat left vacant when his father, twelve-term Rep. Donald Payne, passed away in 2012.
The Democrat has cash-on-hand of $111,187 after raising $59,929 over between May 17 and June 30.
