Rep. Bill Pascrell isn’t entertained by Rep. Devin Nunes’ social media lawsuit.
“What a dimwitted escapade,” Pascrell wrote on Twitter, quoting a post about Nunes’ $250 million suit against the parody Twitter account, “Devin Nunes’ Cow”
Nunes is pursing a defamation claim against Twitter and three of its users. Legal experts have said he is unlikely to win the case.
Pascrell and Nunes have something of a complicated history. When Republicans were pushing their tax plan through Congress in 2017, Nunes blocked an amendment sponsored by Pascrell that would have provided tax exemptions for some victims of natural disasters, including those affected by Hurricanes Sandy and Irma, among others.
After Nunes blocked the amendment, Pascrell took it to heart.
“This is talking about our citizens. This is saying Puerto Ricans aren’t second-class citizens and, damn it, New Jersey people aren’t either,” Pascrell said at the time. “This is saying to you, you have a responsibility for everybody Mr. Nunes. Me included. And if you discriminate against me because I’m from New Jersey, we’ll settle that outside, but we’ll settle this right here now.”

The gentleman from Paterson New Jersey does not sugar coat it does he?
