Republican congressional candidate Frank Pallotta has launched a new campaign video that calls Democrats “unhinged” and says that Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-Wyckoff) needs to stand up to Nancy Pelosi.
“It used to be that we could disagree without being disagreeable. But ever since President Trump got elected, Josh Gottheimer’s party has become unhinged,” Pallotta says in an ad that includes a photo of President Donald Reagan and House Speaker Tip O’Neill from the 1980s.
“But last night, Nancy Pelosi didn’t just rip up the hopes and dreams of the people in our district who support President Trump, she also tore up the names of American Heroes in that speech,” Pallotta said. “It’s disgusting. Josh Gottheimer stand up to Nancy Pelosi for once, and demand that she apologize to the American People.”
Pallotta, a former investment banker, is one of eight Republicans seeking the GOP nomination to challenge Gottheimer in New Jersey’s 5th district.
