Kim says Kellyanne Conway brought $65k to his coffers

Trump White House advisor Kellyanne Conway’s appearance at a high-dollar fundraiser for Rep. Tom MacArthur last night helped Democrat Andy Kim raise over $65,000.

Kim, a former Obama White House aide, says more than 1,100 donors ponied up for three alternate fundraisers held in response to the MacArthur event.  MacArthur was charging up to $15,000 for VIP access to Conway; admission to the Kim’s events was about $10.

“Any support you receive from the Trump White House will backfire spectacularly,” Kim said about the Republican congressman in an e-mail to supporters.  “Trump, Pence, and Paul Ryan have all made it clear that keeping this seat from flipping is a top priority.”
