Republican U.S. Senate candidate Brian Goldberg released a list of 37 endorsements today — the number is now 32 and the numbers are dropping quickly.

Sources say that several of the Republican leaders included on a list released by the Goldberg campaign have asked to be removed, including Monmouth County Freeholders Lillian Burry and Pat Impreveduto, Denville Councilman Brian Bergen, Upper Township Republican Municipal Chairman Larry Trulli, Carteret Republican Municipal Chairman Tony Gallo, Red Bank Republican Municipal Chairman Michael Clancy, and Union Beach Councilman Charles Cocuzza.

Among the names already removed from the original list: former Assemblyman Sam Fiocchi and former Sussex County Republican chair Ailish Hambel.

Goldberg was at the Hunterdon County Republican screening committee tonight and unable to respond to an inquiry.
