Kim gets seat on Small Business Committee

Rep. Andy Kim (D-Marlton) has been named to the House Small Business Committee.

Kim, a freshman congressman who ousted two-term Republican Tom MacArthur in the November 2018 mid-term election, has also won a seat on the House Armed Services Committee.

Small Business is not considered a major committee assignment, and House members typically give up that panel as soon as something better comes along.  Eight of the thirteen members of the committee are freshmen members of the 13th Congress.
