Peter DeNeufville, who filed his petitions on Monday for the U.S. House of Representatives, today formally entered the race to succeed Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen.
He released a letter to 11th district voters that emphasizes his private sector accomplishments and his service as a U.S. Navy Reserve officer.
“I have never run for office. But I’ve entered this race for New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District because I believe our community deserves a leader who both understands this community and knows how to get things done. I will be a committed Representative, not just a Washington Congressman — that is what I pledge to you,” DeNeufville said. “This fall Democrat Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi, along with New Jersey’s Democrat Senators Booker and the disgraced Menendez, have recruited one of their big-government, tax hungry friends into Congressman Frelinghuysen’s seat and take control of the US House of Representatives. ”
