Rosemary Becchi has raised $476,781 for her bid to unseat Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D-Montclair) in New Jersey’s 11th district and has $267,946 cash-on-hand.
Becchi, a former tax counsel for the U.S. Senate Finance Committee, dropped her challenge to Rep. Tom Malinowski (D-Ringoes) in the 7th district earlier this month after Republicans cleared the field to her to run against Sherrill.
The only remaining candidate for the GOP nomination is Robert Crook, an accountant who won less than 1% of the vote as an independent in 2018.
She raised $89,068 in the 4th quarter of 2019.
Sherrill has raised $2,612,434 for her re-election campaign in New Jersey’s 11th district, including $757,451 during the 4th quarter of 2019. The freshman congresswoman has $2,211,668 in her warchest.
She won her House race by 46,262 votes, 57%-42%, against Republican assemblyman Jay Webber (R-Morris Plains) in 2018.
The 11th district has 1,500 more Republicans than Democrats and Donald Trump won it by 1% in 2016 — down from 24,176 when the district was drawn after the 2010 census.

Just $267k COH? That’s it?
Pitiful for candidate who’s been working on raising money for more than 6 months.
Washington Lobbyist Becchi is a terrible candidate who lost in the 7th District already and is in the fast-lane to failure in the 11th.
