General Majority PAC fundraiser set for next month

Wearing masks and adhering to social distancing guidelines, the General Majority PAC super PAC will hold a high-dollar fundraiser on September 16 in Mount Laurel.

Senate President Steve Sweeney and Assembly Majority Leader Louis Greenwald will headline the event, along with sixteen other legislators from South Jersey.

The super PAC is closely tied to Democratic leader George Norcross, although his name does not appear on the invitation, and was formed to support Democratic candidates in legislative races.

General Majority PAC has pumped a huge amount of money into New Jersey politics over the last decade.  In 2017, it contributed over $2.5 million to Sweeney’s re-election campaign.
