Madeline Urbish, a former aide to Gov. Phil Murphy and Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman was sworn in tonight as a Lambertville councilwoman.
Urbish replaces Elaine Warner, who retired after nine years as a councilwoman and nine years as a school board member.
Lambertville Democrats selected Urbish to fill the vacant seat. She will serve for the remaining year of Warner’s term.
Urbish joined the River Crossings Group, a public affairs firm, earlier this year after advising Murphy on energy, environment and agricultural issues.
