Cumberland County Democratic Chairman Doug Long has quietly resigned and will be succeeded by Steve Errickson.
Errickson is the Democratic State Committeeman from Cumberland County and the director of the Cumberland County Utilities Authority.
Long, a former Freeholder, has been dealing with an ethics complains filed against his law firm. He was reprimanded by the Supreme Court in 2016 and was forced out of his post as the Millville labor counsel.
He reportedly issued his resignation at the beginning of the month.
